Company Information

During the past ten years IDI created a novel technology called Interoperable Development & Engineering Architecture (IDEA).

IDEA cuts development and integration costs by a factor of four and has been used on several DoD programs of record. IDInc constructed an innovative methodology for complex systems and sensors integration.

IDInc does not change the existing interface, architecture, nor does IDInc expose proprietary data structures or classified information at any time. IDInc employs a unique timing mechanism which revolutionizes real time systems.

In addition to ongoing projects with OSD and DJCS J9, IDInc is part of the Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation’s (PEO STRI) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract worth up to $1.4 billion for Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Increment One. Furthermore, forty percent of IDInc’s funding comes from OSD’s Modeling and Simulation Coordination Office (M&SCO).

Our Values
Management fully embraces and supports, for philosophical and practical reasons, the value of integrity in every aspect of its business culture. “Best Practices” are systematically implemented to create a strategically beneficial, even-handed, effective, pro “Human Capital” environment. As a result, Company directors, offices, advisors, employees, shareholders, customers, suppliers, strategic partners and others are provided, and receive in return, a high level of consideration consistent with the following values:

Courage: We know we must have courage to break new ground and be a leader in our industry. The status quo is easy. It takes brave people to take risks and actualize vision. Our employees are encouraged to be fearless and to stand for what they believe in, personally and professionally. The spirit of courage is what will advance our technology to its full potential.

Leadership: Management recognizes that great accomplishments are achieved through leadership. For this reason vision, purpose, focus, high integrity, standards of excellence, clear communications and strategic execution are essential to company growth and financial success.

Communication: Deliberate and positive free flowing communication creates trust, direction and efficiency. Planned and spontaneous, inter-departmental, inter-office, top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, peer-to-peer and all multi-directional communication is encouraged and supported.

Trust: Mutual respect fosters trust. Trust creates security and a sense of security creates an environment that allows human beings to more fully express their talents and abilities. Trust is at the core of the Company’s business culture.

Mentoring: Because of rapidly changing technology, methodologies and information, most practical human knowledge becomes obsolete within only a few years. For this reason, the company selects its employees for their talents, abilities and potential to continue learning. Mentoring (top-down, peer-to-peer, department-to-department, discipline-to-discipline, etc.) is one of the most essential educational activities required to maintain the effectiveness and vitality of a progressive company.

Calculated Risk-Taking: We believe that the greatest progress is achieved through risk. And, it is through risk-taking, that we expect to realize the highest potential of the Knowledge Execution Engine (KEE) technology. In its highest regard, we consider risks to be an act of inspired judgment, based on an unknown, but expected outcome.

Innovation and Imagination: Innovation and imagination are the catalysts for exploring new frontiers and developing superior technologies. The people at IDI are encouraged to think beyond what is currently possible with predictive system and integration technology. We ask ourselves, “How can our fresh, new perspectives meet a variety of important needs that could never be met without our technology.”

Social Commitment: As part of the vision of the group, we feel a strong sense of responsibility and a “higher calling,” to positively affect government, private industry and the general public through our technology. For us, having knowledge of the broad impact our technology could have on society, and not pursuing its development, is unquestionable.
